About casino deposit volume and these rankings
circus.fyi ranks crypto casinos by the money players actually deposit, measured on-chain rather than reported by the operators. The leaderboard above refreshes hourly; the answers below explain what each column means.
- What is casino deposit volume?
+
- Deposit volume is the total USD value of cryptocurrency that players sent to a casino over a period. circus.fyi measures it by identifying each casino’s hot wallets and indexing every inbound transfer to them directly from the blockchain, priced at the time of the transaction. It is the closest public proxy for how much real money a casino handles, because it cannot be self-reported or inflated by bonus play.
- How is the casino ranking calculated?
+
- The default Volume view ranks casinos by on-chain deposit volume in the selected window (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or one year), alongside deposit count, unique depositors, average deposit size and the biggest single deposit. The Fairness view ranks by the published house edge of each casino’s original games and the average edge of its sportsbook. The Ratings view ranks by the Circus score, an aggregate of independent review sources normalised onto one 0–100 scale.
- Which blockchains are tracked?
+
- Deposits are indexed on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Solana, Tron, XRP Ledger, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Etherlink, covering the stablecoins and native coins casinos actually accept. Each casino’s row shows the chains its wallets are tracked on; a chain missing from a casino means we have not identified a hot wallet for it yet, not that the casino does not accept it.
- How often is the data updated?
+
- The leaderboard refreshes hourly from an indexer that runs daily against every tracked wallet, with gap-healing jobs through the day. The 24-hour window therefore reflects the most recent complete UTC day, while the 7-day and 30-day windows include the live tail. Hot wallet balances are snapshotted every hour.
- What is the Circus trust score?
+
- The Circus score aggregates public player sentiment about a casino from several independent review sources, normalises each onto a 0–100 scale and weights them by how much evidence they carry. It is shown with a confidence level and the number of sources behind it. It summarises what players report; it is not a licence check and not an endorsement.
- Which casino has the highest deposit volume?
+
- Stake has consistently processed the most on-chain deposit volume of any tracked crypto casino, typically holding around 40% of the tracked market in a given week. The current top ten, their market share and how it is changing are shown live at the top of this page and on the Blockchain market analytics page.
